The resort is beautifully maintained and the staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, although the breakfast options could be more varied. While the exclusive villas are a lovely touch, communication with reception showed room for improvement.

Our stay at Viceroy Bali was absolutely incredible! The Deluxe Terrace Villa was stunning with a private pool that provided breathtaking views of the jungle. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel like royalty. The dining experiences at both restaurants were top-notch, especially the 8-course tasting menu at Apertif, which was unforgettable.
The shuttle service had minor delays.

We had an unforgettable group vacation! The private villa had stunning views, and the staff went above and beyond. We loved the exhilarating white water rafting along the Ayung River and exploring the beautiful surroundings on a cycling tour. The meals at the on-site restaurant were delightful, making every moment special.
The only downside was encountering some noisy honeymooners at the pool. it took away from the tranquil vibe we were hoping for.

missingWrote a review on Apr 25shuttle delayscleaning inconsistency
While the resort is tranquil, the location is a bit far from the center, requiring a shuttle ride into town for meals—though not a huge hassle, the delays can be a minor inconvenience. Room cleaning was sometimes inconsistent, needing a reminder—a small quirk, but not ideal for a luxury stay.

Couples who want perfection
During my stay, I experienced the most really good service from the staff, who treated me like I was royalty. The breakfast was the best food ever, especially the fresh fruit, the mangosteen was just out of this world.
It wasn’t cheap, but honestly, it was acceptable considering the luxury.

We just had a dreamy two nights in a Terrace Pool Valley View Villa! The private cabana and infinity pool were beyond stunning and exactly as promised, but nothing beats the amazing breakfast at Cascades. Just a tiny thing, they could work on more evening turn-downs. Would totally go back!
